Continuing Education Credit at the
2003 South Central District Fall Convention

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT

 

The Houston Rose Society has applied to various professional organizations which have continuing education requirements for members of those organizations holding specialty certification, including:

 

American Rose Society Consulting Rosarians

 

Texas Nursery & Landscape Association

 

Texas Master Gardeners Program

 

As approvals for continuing education credit are received from these professional organizations, it will be noted on this site, along with the maximum number of credit that a registrant may realize from participation in the event. For registrants electing to attend the full-day horticultural seminar on Saturday, October 25, 2003, a Certificate of Completion will be available at the conclusion of the seminar.

 

American Rose Society Consulting Rosarians

 

Consulting rosarians will be offered a maximum of 4 continuing education audit credits for attendance at the horticultural seminar.

 

Texas Nursery & Landscape Association (TNLA)

 

Members of the Texas Nursery & Landscape Association will be offered a maximum of 9 continuing education credits for participation in the following activities:

 

- 2 credits for visiting the trade booths

- 5 credits for attending the full-day horticultural seminar

- 2 credits for attending the garden breakfast and garden tours
