Rose Tours Sponsored by
The Houston Rose Society
by Gaye Hammond

Five members of the Houston Rose Society opened their private rose gardens to HRS members on Sunday, November 5, 2000 for the HRS Fall Garden Tour. Each garden on the tour was unique and featured roses grown in totally diverse settings.

All of the gardens were living works of art. In addition to hundreds of roses, the gardens have other interesting elements, such as an outdoor electric train, a morning dove aviary, turtle habitats, and unique landscaping features.
